About
ERA
Rodman Bros was established in 1949 by the three
bothers Edward, Richard and Alan Rodman, hence
the initials ERA. The company then specialised
in the wet spraying of bike frames but soon grew
to encompass a broad range of industrial applications.
In
1986 the company moved from its factory on the
Claverings Estate in Edmonton to its current location
in New Southgate whereupon it began offering powder
coating services specialising in the coating of
sheetmetal products.
As
a progressive company we have continued to invest
in our facilities and in 2007 acquired a new large
capacity automated phosphating machine as well
as a new Hydrovane compressor in 2008.
As
a general jobbing shop we serve a broad range of
companies and welcome new enquiries from all areas,
however, currently the vast majority of our work
is spread across the electronics and electrical
sectors including components such as light fittings,
fuse boxes (trunking), low voltage and fluorescent
lighting systems and recessed fittings for suspended
ceilings.
Another
large area of our work includes the powder coating
of external architectural metalwork such as signage,
security grills, collapsible gates and wrought
iron railings.
Whilst
most of our work is mid to high volume commercial
finishing we also undertake recoating for the
general public including the items detailed below:
- Car
Wheels
- Bike
