Def Stan 80-161 - Epoxy Filler and Epoxy Finish

DEFStan 80-161 is a Nato green or white high solids low VOC based two pack epoxy finish designed for use on military vehicles, telecommunications, aircraft and ground equipment.

We offer the FR 80, which is a two-pack, ambient curing, pigmented epoxy filler possessing excellent durability and chemical resistance as well as EC75 which is a two-pack, ambient curing, epoxy finish possessing good adhesion and high chemical resistance. This combination of properties makes it an ideal topcoat to enhance the protection of either epoxy or polyurethane primers used on the internal structure of aircraft by providing an easily cleaned finishing coat which has high resistance to aircraft fluids, including phosphate ester hydraulic fluids.

Def Stan 80-129/4 type 2 - Electrical Insulating

We offer the CV122 coating which is a single-pack, water-resistant, gloss varnish suitable for application as an electrical insulating coating or wood varnish.

This finish is also suited for BSX17 specifications.

Def Stan 80-209/2 - Gloss Low-VOC Polyurethane Finish

We offer both the DEFStan 80-209 CARC high solids two pack polyurethane finishes designed for use on military vehicles and ground equipment. When used over an appropriate primer, the finishing scheme satisfies the infra-red camouflage requirements of DEF-STAN 00-23 and the chemical agent resistance requirements of DEF STAN 00-72. Matt finish.

We offer the CA8300 system which also meets the performance specifications of MIL-PRF-85285, BS2X34 A and B.

Def Stan 80-208/2 - Low VOC Polyurethane Topcoat

We offer both the CA8360 (standard quality) and the CA8360R (IR reflecting) paint systems, which are high solids, VOC compliant, polyurethane topcoats possessing excellent chemical resistant properties. They are intended for use both as internal topcoats for aircraft structural components as well as external topcoats for military aircraft and equipment. both external topcoats CA8360 and CA8360R possess excellent UV resistance and long term durability and are both intended, as part of high performance camouflage systems, for use over Def Stan 80-206/2 and Def Stan 80-207/2 primers.

Tis coating is available in NATO Green and Light Stone.

CA8360 also meets the performance requirements of Mil-C-46168.

Def Stan 80-206/2 - Chromate Free Polyurethane Primer

We offer the CA7040 paint system which is a two-pack low VOC solvent-borne polyurethane primer suitable for application on aged alkyd coatings as well as on steel. CA7040 is intended for use on military vehicles and equipment..
