Green Credentials

We are proud to have taken the opportunity to harness the modern potential afforded by renewal energy options and have had our roof area covered with solar panels which on a full summer day can offer us 50% of our total electricity requirements and over the year reducing our carbon footprint by 33%.

As well as solar power, we also undertake all other sensible waste reduction opportunities which includes careful management of power stocks that can be chosen at preferential rates via our powder store, thus reducing waste.

Environmental Product Declaration

We also offer AkzoNobel Powder Coatings who are the first major powder coating manufacturer to achieve a third party certified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for their coatings. The Environmental Product Declaration includes a life-cycle analysis of the raw materials used in their products, the manufacture of the product itself and the associated shipping to the user and its application. For each stage the carbon output, acidification of water, water usage and other elements are measured. This is all verified by a third-party examiner and allows our customers to choose a powder supplier that can demonstrate higher environmental performance and reduced environmental compromises.
